Kommian Functionalism
For reasons peculiar to me and my own person I have developed and adopted a philosophy which I refer to as Kommian Functionalism in order to navigate the world of religion and belief. I do not wish to discuss the nature of the philosophy in this post or at any future time. Rather I hope to use this blog to explore Kommianism in greater detail through the proceeding posts.

Neuron Recruitment and DAI
I don't think I'll ever have any empirical evidence for the words in this post - that is unless someone is willing to fork up the money to run several brain scans on me whilst I think. Nevertheless I would like to put to the reader the following suggestion / idea. That the use of DAI might cause the activation of a larger number of neurons than normal when thinking about a given problem. The reason I think this might be the case is because DAI involves the integration of multiple areas of interest into the solution of a problem. To ponder a programming problem and to accompany with that thinking some metaphor involving flight or industry could perhaps recruit more neurons since more is being contemplated than merely the programming problem.
Some November Aphorisms
1. That bullshit is most apparent which requires hoards of learned men to come to its aid day and night, composing erudite tomes in its defense.
2. People write about the dead. The living speak for themselves. The undead are those who have the honoured privilege of having men write and speak for them.
3. It is a mistake to believe all puppets stupid and easily led. After all, one of the greatest puppets ever conceived was responsible, according to its puppeteers, for creating the universe and everything that is in it.
4. It is equally a mistake to believe God dead. That God is dead which humans build and construct. Once you have destroyed all such gods God will reveal himself or your discovery of the fraud will be complete. Those wont to wishful thinking had better hope the two are not the same.
5. To play with one's mind as though it were a beautiful orchestra is mysticism at its finest. To have one's mind played like a cheap harmonica is religion at its finest.
